Mike grew up in Memphis and it seems like he started playing music before he could walk. Many of Memphis's premiere guitar players learned their chops from Mike and he has appeared on stage with many of the best. His list of notable locals includes Bill Marshall, Buddy Davis, Tommy Cathey, Greg Redding, Hal Butler and Pete Mendella.
Mike also plays bass guitar and keyboards and has played with the #1 recording artists - Paul Robi's WORLD FAMOUS PLATTERS and with LINDA GAIL LEWIS.
He has worked with Jim Mangrum of BLACK OAK ARKANSAS, Larry Dodson and Ben Cauley of THE BAR-KAYS, Andrew Love of THE MEMPHIS HORNS and Larry Lee of JIMI HENDRIX - A BAND OF GYPSYS. His bands played with JERRY LEE LEWIS, CHRIS ISSAK, DAVID ALLEN COE, and ACE CANNON.
Mike has 5 children – 3 boys and two girls.
