A Memphis native, David has been a part of the Memphis music scene since he was in High School. In that time he has played, toured and recorded with many of the areas best bands and musicians.

David has played and toured with The GENTRYS and has appeared on stage with CHICAGO, DEEP PURPLE, BONNIE RAITT and CACTUS.  He played with EDGEWOOD – one of the areas first bands to do all original material and recorded with COMBINATIONS, which featured vocalist Jimi Jamison who later lead SURVIVOR.

David recorded at Ardent Studios and TMI and had albums on RCA and Columbia.  His RCA album in 1972 received positive reviews from Rolling Stone and Record World.

David’s business credits include winning a national Elly Award as the Training Professional of the Year in 2005.  He is a Vice President with First South Credit Union.

David and his wife Jo Lyn have twin boys – Nick and Zach.

For fun David arranges and records songs, remodels houses and makes furniture.
