Andy is also a product of Memphis and a fixture in the Memphis entertainment scene.
He runs a commercial audio company called, Audio Media Productions which specializes in location audio mixing for films and TV and in custom music production. With his company he has been a part of many of the cities hit songs and hit movies. From producing the Joyce Cobb top 40 hit – “Dig Da Gold” to mixing the sound for Craig Brewers movies – “Hustle and Flow” and “Black Snake Moan” you can find Andy’s special touch making that “Memphis Sound”.
Andy also plays guitar, bass and keyboards and has played with THE GENTRYS, YANKEE DIME, ELYSIAN FIELD and THE STRAYFERS. He sang backup for Willie Nelson’s “City of New Orleans” CD, with THE ATLANTA RHYTHMN SECTION and on Rick Dee’s, “Disco Duck”.
His other entertainment credits include winning
several Addy Awards for his advertising commercials and producing an international commercial featuring Dolly Parton, Lee Greenwood, BB King, Crystal Gale and the Oak Ridge Boys.
Andy has been married for 35+ years to his wife Linda and they have two sons, Nathan and Jeff.
For fun he takes vacations.
